Transforming the stakeholders’ perspective of quality and motivating them to perform towards enhancing the utility of the University outcomes.


  • Enabling the academic departments to upgrade their programmes of teaching, research and extension to be more relevant and practical.
  • Facilitating students to develop the skills required for higher employability.
  • Promoting the awareness about student support services to generate quality services to help students to upgrade to the best
  • Nurturing collaborations with other academic institutions, NGOs and the local industry for supporting curriculum framing, teaching, training, co-curricular activities, internship and placement as well as resource mobilization.
  • Raising the motivational and aspiration levels of students and research scholars to utilize and conserve the resources available for a better performance in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Leveraging the administrative units to adapt to the emerging technologies for a speedier, more transparent and user-friendly file handling and file clearing processes
  • Allying with alumni and parents for obtaining feedback for strengthening the academic governance and student support system.
  • Keeping the administration informed about the emerging needs of the various units of the University and suggesting suitable initiatives to cater to these needs.
  • Organizing programs on regular basis for keeping the quality concerns high by all the stakeholders.


  1. Mobilize/update all information related to academic, administrative, research, extension and training activities for measuring the performance of each unit.
  2. Set quality standards for each component, departments, administrative units, student support services and compare the present situation with the standards set.
  3. Prepare the ‘Quality Assessment Report’ as conditioned by the accreditation institutions, on regular basis.
  4. Improve the credentials of the University for augmenting resource mobilization and Placements.
  5. Participate in all third party ranking and assessment activities and showcase the strengths of the University.


  1. Teaching Departments: Revise curricula, pedagogy and evaluation frameworks periodically;
  2. Teachers: Publish at least one paper annually in SCOPUS/ indexed journals for improving the individual and institutional academic ratings.
  3. Student Support Services: Conduct regular outreach program to disseminate the nature of support available; and prepare a log of the use and outcome of the use of the services.
  4. Administrators: Developing cost-effective and time-saving procedure in all administrative matters.
  5. Capacity building of manpower at all levels; training and skill up-gradation programmes at regular intervals.
  6. Obtaining the feedback on all units and by all the stakeholders:
  1. Students on teachers
  2. Students Satisfaction Survey
  3. Teachers on administration
  4. Public (parents and alumni) on the University.



The quality parameters shall be monitored through:

  1. Regular meetings of the respective bodies like Department Council, Advisory Committees, Review Committees, Academic Council, Syndicate, etc., for taking stock of the progress;
  2. Annual Report and Annual Quality Assessment Reports
  3. AAA Committee meetings
  4. Evaluation of the stakeholder feedbacks
  5. Review and suggestions by the stakeholders
